Kia ora! I'm Scarlett, the founder of Ada & Ivy Chocolate. My journey with chocolate began with a leap of faith in August 2022 when I started volunteering at a Bean to Bar Chocolate Factory in Sydney. There, I discovered the art of ethical and sustainable cacao farming and became immersed in the world of chocolate, turning my passion into a reality.
Returning to New Zealand, I felt inspired to create something truly special. At Ada & Ivy, we combine the finest single-origin chocolate couverture with thoughtfully chosen ingredients, including local Kiwi flavours that evoke the essence of my childhood in Aotearoa. Our chocolates are crafted with care, using ingredients that reflect our commitment to quality and simplicity, free from unnecessary additives.
The heart of our brand is inspired by my young daughters, Ada and Ivy, who represent purity, love, and the timeless values of family. Naming our chocolates after them is a testament to the belief that dreams can come true.
